Jane Iredale PureLash Extender & Conditioner, Review & Photos

Jane Iredale PureLash Extender & Conditioner (sample size)
Full size: $16.50 Available here at JaneIredale.com

I received this little sample with my last order from SkincareRX, as like Sephora, they include three samples with your purchase, and I'm so glad they threw this little lash conditioner in with my order!
Naturally, my lashes are of average length and thin, so they tend to fall out quite often. I've been using this extender and conditioner daily for about a week and a half now, and I have to say that I've definitely seen a difference!

First, I'll talk about the conditioner aspect of this product. I've found that my lashes look and feel a lot healthier. It's like a conditioner for your hair, basically, as my lashes are really soft and just feel stronger.

Second, the extender aspect I feel isn't as strong as the conditioner aspect, but I have noticed that everyday now before I apply this product, my lashes look just a little bit longer than before I used this product.

According to the product description on the Jane Iredale website, this product is designed to get your lashes to the point where you don't need mascara anymore, and for some people, I could see how that could definitely become reality. If I had the full sized product and used it everyday, I definitely feel that I wouldn't need to rely on mascara everyday after maybe two months of usage. But for me, I like to have the black tint to my lashes, so that probably wouldn't happen. But if you're someone who doesn't wear mascara on a regular basis and just wants to emphasize their natural lashes, this is definitely a product to try.

The product itself is white and a creamy formula, I would say on the same consistency level as most other mascaras on the market. You can also simultaneously use this as a lash primer, which I've done. It does make my lashes a little spidery, but it's not that noticeable.

Day 1

Day 3

You probably can't tell much of a difference from the photos, but I can't tell you how soft my lashes were by the third day!

The Pros:
Makes my lashes feel very strong and healthy
No cosmetic smell
Good formula
Able to apply regular mascara overtop

The Cons:
I wished it extended my lashes a little bit more!

The Bottom Line
9/10
For just $16.50, this is a really good product to try at any age. It's always important to take care of your lashes, especially if you're an avid user of waterproof mascaras!

What do you think? Do you use any lash conditioners?
